Optimal stability with maximum concentricity
The shrink connection offers an absolutely backlash-free fit and, in combination with the screw-in system, ensures maximum concentricity and rigidity – just right for deep contours.
The significantly increased holding forces compared to conventional screw-in systems enable a precise and reproducible tool fit. For long overhangs, the simultaneous form and force fit between the holder and the milling cutter also helps to achieve a high surface quality.
The high tensile strength and thermal stability of Duoplug® is achieved through the use of special materials with a special hard coating.
Ideal areas of application are finishing and roughing operations with long overhangs, high-feed milling in deep contours, and high-precision finishing operations. As an extremely slim holder system, Duoplug® is also suitable for deep machining situations on vertical walls.
