Are Indexable Insert Milling Cutters a Viable Alternative?

Solid carbide end mills are valued for both their high precision and long tool life. They are therefore often the first choice in manufacturing.

However, given the sharp rise in solid carbide prices, it is also worth considering Pokolm’s indexable insert cutters for mass production. With the ball nose milling cutter Uniworx® and Uniworx® PLUS, the corner radius and high-feed milling cutter – we offer two alternatives that can efficiently replace solid carbide cutters in many applications.
